How to Do Barbell Back Squat
- Position the barbell across your upper back and un-rack it.
- Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, toes slightly pointed out.
- Brace your core and squat down by bending at the hips and knees.
- Descend until your thighs are at least parallel to the floor.
- Drive through your heels to stand back up to the starting position.
